Arapahoe School enrollment
Arapahoe Public Schools finished their first week with enrollment of 339 students for the 2015/2016 school years.
The largest class this year is the senior class with 28 students. The eighth grade class has the smallest class of 17 students. The pre-kindergarten enrollment is high this year with 45 students.
Arapahoe Public Schools has seen a steady increase in enrollment in the past five year. There is almost a 30-student increase since 2011.
Superintendent Charlie Curnyn commented about the changes in the new school year. He said, “The start of every new school year is met with excitement and sometimes changes. The excitement comes from how will our students perform in the classroom and with their extracurricular activities.”
Arapahoe Athletic Booster Club holds picnic
The Arapahoe Athletic Booster Club sponsored a barbecue before the football scrimmage on Friday night. Darin Kerner, John E. Koller and Arlyn Wasenius are shown working the grill to feed the fans and players.
