Warriors begin spring season


The Arapahoe High School  Warrior track teams traveled to Wilcox for the Wilcox-Hildreth Invite on Saturday, March 24.

The Arapahoe boys had their strongest performance in the 400 meter dash.  Noah Koller had a time of 54.20 seconds, and Yordi Gutierrez clocked in at 57.20 seconds.  They placed second and third respectively.

Isaac Goshert placed sixth in the 3200 meter run with a time of 11:59.30.  Jacob Pruitt tied for sixth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.00 seconds.  Spencer Watson was the only Warrior to place in a field event.  He placed fifth in the triple jump with a jump of 38’02.75”.

All three of the Arapahoe boys’ relay teams placed at the meet.  The 4×400 meter relay team of John Lee, Spencer Watson, Yordi Gutierrez, and Noah Koller placed third with a time of 3:54.00.  The 4×800 meter relay team of Brandon Tucker, Spencer Watson, Yordi Gutierrez, and John Lee also placed third with a time of 9:19.50.  Lastly, the 4×100 meter relay team of Jacob Eichenberger, Jacob Pruitt, Colton Hearn, and Noah Koller placed fifth with a time of 48.20 seconds.

The Arapahoe track teams will travel to Elwood for the Pirate Invite on Thursday, March 29, first round field events begin at 10:00 a.m.
