The Arapahoe Warrior Track Team began their week with a trip to Benkelman for the Dundy County-Stratton Invite on Tuesday, April 3.  They then traveled to Cambridge for the Don Stine Invitational on Monday, April 9. The Arapahoe girls placed fourth at Dundy County-Stratton with 71 points.   The boys also placed fourth with their 95 team points.  

The Lady Warriors had four athletes place in multiple events.  Alayna Whipple won the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.59 seconds.  She then placed second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 28.41 seconds.

Lauren Bahe placed in three events.  She was second in the triple jump with a jump of 31’04.75”.  Bahe placed third in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:08.91.  Lastly, she placed fourth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 29.68 seconds. Adrienne Einspahr won the 3200 meter run with a time of 13:54.20.  She had a time of 2:52.72 to place third in the 800 meter run.Adrienne North placed third in the 3200 meter run with a time of 14:11.44.  She placed fifth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:59.37.

The Arapahoe girls had one relay team place at the meet.  The 4×400 meter relay team placed second with a time of 5:01.33. The Arapahoe boys had a number of athletes place in their events at Dundy County.  Jacob Pruitt placed second in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.98 seconds.  He placed fifth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.03 seconds.  Noah Koller also placed in the 200 meter dash.  He was second with a time of 23.92 seconds.

Spencer Watson was the only Warrior to place in a running and field event.  He had a time of 59.10 seconds in the 400 meter dash; placing him sixth.  Watson placed second in the triple jump with a jump of 39’10.50”. The Warriors had three runners place in the distant running events.  Isaac Goshert placed second in the 3200 meter run with a time of 12:25.82.  Reilley Einspahr placed fourth in the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:52.57.  Brandon Tucker placed fifth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:31.52.

Conner Luke placed fifth in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 21.79 seconds.  He placed sixth in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 52.68 seconds.  Nolan Meyers also placed in the 300 meter hurdles.  He was fifth with a time of 51.83 seconds.

Shane Sieja placed second in the high jump with a jump of 4’10”.  Cooper Schutz placed fifth in the shot put with a throw of 38’07.50”.  Schutz placed sixth in the discus with a throw of 107’10”. The three boys’ relay teams placed at the meet.  The 4×400 meter relay team of Jackson Koller, Spencer Watson, Noah Koller and Jacob  Pruitt led the way by placing third with a time of 3:56.08.  The 4×100 meter relay team of Nolan Meyers, Tristin Abraham, Reilley Einspahr and Conner Luke  placed fourth with a time of 52.08 seconds.  The 4×800 meter relay team of Parker Ehrke, Brandon Tucker, Reilley Einspahr and Nolan Meyers placed fourth with a time of 10:37.09.

 

The Arapahoe girls placed eighth at the Don Stine Invitational with 17 points.    The boys placed fourth with 44 points.    Arapahoe placed seventh overall with 61 points.  

Joslyn North placed in three events for the Lady Warriors.  She was fourth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:50.60.  North was also fourth in the 3200 meter run with a time of 14:13.16.  Lastly, she was fifth in the 1600 meter run with a time of 6:14.42.  Adrienne North also placed in the 3200 meter run.  She had a time of 14:52.58; placing her sixth. Lauren Bahe represented Arapahoe in the field events.  She placed third in the triple jump with a jump of 30’10”.

The Arapahoe boys had three place in the 800 meter run.  Yordi Gutierrez placed second with a time of 2:14.52.  Jackson Koller was fourth with a time of 2:19.58.  Brandon Tucker had a time of 2:24.07; placing him in sixth.  Noah Koller placed third in the 400 meter dash with a time of 53.69 seconds. The boys had two place in their field events.  Spencer Watson placed third in the triple jump with a jump of 39’08.50”.

Carson Schroeder placed fourth in the high jump by clearing 5’08”.Arapahoe had all three of their relay teams place at the Don Stine Invitational.

The 4×100 meter relay team of Yordi Gutierrez, Carson Schroeder, Colton Hearn, and Noah Koller placed third with a time of 46.94 seconds.  The 4×400 meter relay team of Yordi Gutierrez, Spencer Watson, Jackson Koller, and Noah Koller placed third with a time of 3:48.44.  Lastly, the 4×800 meter relay Team of Brandon Tucker, Yordi Gutierrez, Jackson Koller, and Reilley Einspahr placed fourth with a time of 9:23.13.

The Arapahoe Track Team will travel to McCook for a meet on Friday, April 13.
