The Good Samaritan Society- Arapahoe is celebrating National Nursing Home Week May 12-19 with the theme “Celebrating Life’s Stories.”
National Nursing Home Week is set aside each year to honor residents of long-term care centers, their families, and those who work in long-term care. The American Health Care Association established the week in 1967.
The Good Samaritan Society- Arapahoe will be hosting events open to the public during the week. Paul Siebert, Merry maker will entertain at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15th followed by an Ice Cream Social. Annual Barbecue will be Wednesday, May 16th from 5 – 7 p.m. Classic country group, the Calhouns will be entertaining during this event. “Arapahoe’s Got Talent” Talent Show will be on Thursday, May 17th beginning at 7 p.m. All events will be held at Good Samaritan Society Arapahoe Skilled Nursing dining room or chapel.
During this special week, we will show our support and give thanks for those we serve,” says Administrator Cindy Thomas.
