Arapahoe High athletes compete at state track and field championships

The Arapahoe High School track team sent 11 athletes to the Nebraska State Track Meet on Friday and Saturday, May 18 and 19. The meet was held at Omaha Burke High School.

The girls were represented by their 3200 meter relay team of Lauren Bahe, Adrienne North, Joslyn North, and Adrienne Einspahr.  They finished with a time of 10:53.67, placing them in 13th.  Giltner won the relay with a time of 10:03.17.

Giltner won the Class D girls championships with 89.5 points with Elm Creek runner-up scoring 40.50 points.

The boys had two athletes compete in three individual events.  Noah Koller placed ninth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.55 seconds.  He was one-tenth of a second from qualifying for the finals in the event. Winning the event was Ty Hahn of Johnson-Brock with a time of 22.87.
