The Arapahoe High School wrestling team began their season with a Quad at Cambridge on Thursday, November 29. They then traveled to Elwood for their annual invitational on Friday, November 30.
The Warriors came out of the Quads at Cambridge with a 3-0 record. They beat Southwest 51-24, Cambridge 54-18, and Loomis/Bertrand 48-27. Arapahoe had six wrestlers leave the day undefeated. Skyler Warburton, Wyatt Jenkins, and Jackson Koller were all 3-0. Tristian White was 2-0. Bryan Conn and Tracy Hoard were both 1-0.
Arapahoe placed second at the Elwood Invitational with 127.0 team points. Maxwell carried the meet with 181.0 team points. The Warriors had nine wrestlers place in the top four of their weight class. Skyler Warburton placed fourth. Bryan Conn, Jackson Koller, Wyatt Jenkins, and Levi Kerner all placed third. John Lee and Shane Sieja placed second in Elwood. Tristan White and Isaac Goshert stood atop the podium as they earned first at the meet.
Arapahoe has ten wrestlers with a winning record after their first week of actions. Jackson Koller leads the team with a 6-1 record, coming away with the most wins. Tristan White is undefeated at 5-0. Levi Kerner and Skyler Warburton are both 5-2. Wyatt Jenkins is sitting at 5-1. Bryan Conn is 4-1 on the season. Shane Sieja is sitting at 4-2. John Lee and Isaac Goshert finished the week at 3-2. Tracy Hoard is also undefeated with his 1-0 record. Arapahoe will travel to Southern Valley for a meet on Friday, December 7.
