Monday night into early Tuesday morning, another significant amount of rain fell in the area, leaving many country roads covered with water from creeks overflowing their banks. Water ran over this creek northeast of Arapahoe Monday evening/Tuesday morning. Rain totals in the area were recorded from four to five and one-half inches. Last week, north of Edison, Turkey Creek ran hard, overflowing it’s bank, causing smaller creeks to rise and overflow, the same situation is occurring this week. Major damage to country roads cause hazardous driving conditions in some areas.
